Performance before an audience started at the young tender age of four for Tamara.
Having a mother who is a prominent Canadian classical opera singer meant that show
business was in Tamara’s genes from birth and her convictions have not wavered since.
Trained as a classical pianist and vocalist from a young age, Tamara could read music
before she learned the alphabet. Through her travels and various music competitions,
Tamara encountered many entertainment opportunities. In her teens, Tamara broadened her
horizons when she entered the world of fashion as a model for print and runway work that
led to TV and Film work.
Bitten by the acting bug, Tamara began to concentrate on acting, while still
studying opera in Montreal. Even though this might have been enough to contend
with for most, for Tamara there was still another passion she was pursui ng.
Going on the road and touring with her band was also a part of her performance
life.

Leaving Montreal, she moved to Vancouver where these components all came together for her.
She began working in the film industry as an actor in various films and TV shows. She is
also the lead singer for the band “The Creepy Family” that is considered to be Canada's
only true Goth band. Tamara also performs and collaborates with other artists on recording
and live-performances. She continues to work as an actor in the film industry and is currently
mixing a C.D. recording with The Creepy Family (www.thecreepyfamily.com).
Barbara met Tamara through friends and when the part for Foreplay came up Barbara felt Tamara
was the perfect person. Tamara is extremely talented and uses her quick wit and humor to entertain
on and off the set. The comedic relief that transpires between Rod and Tamara will provide the
dynamics that will keep both male and female audience entertained.
